DigiBox had a successful time at the recent BVE show at London ExCeL, demonstrating a number of new products and brands to visitors. Some of the highlights included MuxLab's AV over IP, the first UK showing of AJA's HELO streaming device, SNS's Share Browser, Theatrixx xVision converters, Embrionix, Adder and Wowza.
We're very pleased that Kimberly Beard has joined us at DigiBox as our new product development and account manager. She brings several years’ broadcast and professional AV industry experience to the role, having previously held the positions of Brand Manager for Blackmagic Design at Holdan and Business Manager for Media and Entertainment at Jigsaw24. Reporting to Group Commercial Director, Jayson Chase, Kimberly is managing a number of DigiBox’s key accounts, working to develop product strategy and grow the business throughout the UK and Europe.
Today’s students are digital natives and are inspired by multi-media content, which is driving change in the way that teaching is delivered in the classroom and how students are learning and retaining information. With the right technology and equipment, students and teachers can now create visually sophisticated multi-media presentations to a professional standard, on a budget. The easy to use technology designed specifically for schools and the education sector allows for high quality video production, simultaneous recording, publishing to social media channels and live streaming from anywhere with an Internet connection to name just some of the functionality.

DigiBox is now distributing xVision converters from Theatrixx – super-rugged converters built for a life on the road. We had the first showing of the products at BVE, as well as a prototype of their latest SDI to Fibre converter. Some clever features – including integrated power supply, magnetic stacking system and locking HDMI port – make these converters ideal touring companions.
Compact, easy to install, ultra low latency, HD Video, USB and stereo audio with silent operation.
Embrionix, a global leader in broadcast video, announces that it has signed a Distribution Agreement with UK based DigiBox. DigiBox will be promoting, distributing and supporting Embrionix solutions within its reseller and SI network in UK, Ireland, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Iceland.
DigiBox CTO, Marc Risby says “We are delighted to be working with Embrionix in Europe, although in some ways their dominance in the video SFP market means that we have been using their technology for years powering connections in many products that we already represent from other vendors! Their new IP products bridge the gap between broadcast signals and the off-the-shelf IT world and will enable flexible workflows that were just not possible a short time ago. Their products fit perfectly into our growing IP portfolio and will provide the platform that will power the next generation of broadcast systems. Embrionix has a truly world-class team and we look forward to celebrating success moving forward.”
