AJA KUMO 6464 12G
AJA’s KUMO 6464 router offers increased capacity for larger configurations while maintaining a compact 4RU profile with support for 3G-SDI/1.5G-SDI from 64x 3G-SDI inputs and 64x 3G-SDI outputs. It supports ganged dual and quad port routing control, allowing users to group together multiple inputs and outputs for Dual Link and Quad Link 4K/UltraHD workflows.KUMO 3G-SDI routers support single link 1080p/HD/SD, high frame rate (HFR) and deep colour formats. The routers offer network-based and/or physical control using KUMO CP and CP2 and offer a USB port for configuring IP addresses via AJA’s eMini-Setup software.
Built to the same quality standards as all AJA KUMO products, KUMO 6464 is the ideal choice for any situation where a balance of size, performance, and capacity are critical such as post facilities and mobile trucks.POWERFUL SIGNAL MANAGEMENT
KUMO’s powerful crosspoint routing matrix maps any input to any number of outputs without the need for additional patch panels or distribution amplifiers. Use KUMO as an affordable distribution amplifier by routing a single input to all outputs. Used in this way, a KUMO 6464 can take the place of multiple distribution amplifiers.
As 4K workflows continue to gain ground, KUMO routers can grow as you do. With a simple setting change, KUMO routers can be configured for ganged dual and quad port routing, allowing users to group together multiple inputs and outputs for Dual Link, 4K and UltraHD workflows. This allows seamless routing of uncompressed or Raw 4K and UltraHD signals throughout a production or post facility. Then switch the router back to HD-SDI/SD-SDI operation as needed, giving you the flexibility to route virtually any format in your facility.
SALVO SIMPLICITY
Salvos allow an operator to quickly route a predefined set of crosspoints, connecting specific sources to destinations, at the push of a button. Salvos are easily created by simply setting up the desired routes and saving it to a button in the KUMO router’s Web UI.
Up to eight salvos can be stored in a KUMO router and can be instantly recalled via the KUMO router’s Web UI, GVG Native Protocol over Ethernet, RS-422, and/or the AJA KUMO CP2 Salvo buttons.

COMPACT ROUTING
KUMO compact SDI routers provide powerful signal control and support full broadcast specifications over 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI, with quality that exceeds SMPTE specifications. The super-compact 1RU and 2RU and 4RU formats are just a few inches deep, making them a perfect fit for any broadcast, production, or post production environment, from mobile sports trucks and edit suites, through to corporate video installations or live theatrical A/V rigs.
KUMO SDI routers are available in seven configurations: Three for 12G/6G/3G/1.5G-SDI and four for 3G/1.5G-SDI routing needs.
For 12G-SDI, look to KUMO 6464-12G for 64x 12G-SDI inputs and outputs, KUMO 3232-12G for 32x 12G-SDI inputs and outputs or KUMO 1616-12G for 16x 12G-SDI inputs and outputs.
For 3G-SDI look to KUMO 6464 for 64x 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, KUMO 3232 for 32x 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, KUMO 1616 for 16x 3G-SDI inputs and outputs and KUMO 1604 for 16x 3G-SDI inputs and 4x 3G-SDI outputs.REDUNDANT POWER SUPPLIES
Routing sits at the heart of your signal matrix needs, connecting one critical device to another. To ensure maximum uptime in the unlikely event of a power supply failure, KUMO offers redundant power supply options that can failover with zero disruption to operations.
BROADCAST STANDARD RELIABILITY
Designed for critical broadcast, production and post environments, KUMO routers are built to AJA standards that exceed SMPTE specifications. The use of premium components coupled with dual redundant power supplies ensures the highest signal quality and maximum uptime even in the unexpected event of a power supply failure.SIMPLE INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION
Running Embedded Linux, KUMO routers are network ready and support powerful HTTP control and monitoring via a web browser - without the need for any additional software.
KUMO's USB port connection allows easy IP configuration using free AJA eMini-Setup software. KUMO's auto-detect Bonjour™ / Zeroconf protocols mean that network configuration can also be automatic, just connect KUMO to your network or a computer and the system will self-configure, ready for use. Alternatively, standard network configuration allows access to each KUMO via its default IP address. Once connected to KUMO using a web browser, you can configure the full TCP/IP settings, select and name KUMO routers, name sources and destinations, and perform all operational functions including crosspoint selection and salvo execution.
KUMO routers are easily integrated with existing infrastructure utilising the industry-standard Grass Valley Native Protocol over RS-422 or even Ethernet. Ethernet network connectivity also allows you to control all KUMO routers from any web browser on a network-connected device, ensuring you have the control you need from any location.KUMO CP2 and KUMO CP
KUMO CP2 and KUMO CP are optional control panels that can be used in standalone or networked configurations.
Connecting via Ethernet to the same network as the KUMO routers, KUMO CP and KUMO CP2 enable full control from any location without the need for a computer. Up to four KUMO routers can be controlled from a single control panel.
KUMO CP2 offers direct access to all 32 inputs and 32 outputs for the KUMO range up through the KUMO 3232-12G, and with a simple click of the shift key, addresses all 64 inputs and outputs of the KUMO 6464 models. This control panel also offers direct control of a KUMO router’s eight salvos.

KUMO products are covered by a generous five year warranty. Please see the individual Product’s Manual for additional specifics around warranty conditions for the product itself.
AR support with Unreal Engine 4.22
Capture real time footage with KONA 4 over SDI from high quality cameras, meld your footage with your virtual environment created by the Unreal Engine and send it back out in real time to air - a growing need for broadcasters, augmented reality (AR) needs and more.
Digital film makers also benefit with these new workflows: On set, enhance your live action VFX work with the ability to see a full composite live during the course of the shoot. This results in fewer reshoots, the ability for actors to understand the virtual environment they are working within for stronger performances and ultimately leads to a range of efficiencies and cost savings with the added benefit of a smoother transition into post production.

Gefen's DisplayPort signal distribution products are designed to enable computers and sources equipped with DisplayPort technology to be routed to DisplayPort displays.
HDMI
Extend HDMI signals up to 4K UHD over CAT5e/6, HDBaseT, Fiber Optic, or wirelessly.HDR
HDR, or High Dynamic Range, provides the ability to display a wider and richer range of colors, much brighter whites, and much deeper, darker blacks than standard signals allow. This gives your imagery a more ‘dynamic’ look and allows for natural true to life colors to be communicated to your audience.
KONA 4 HDR workflows can also benefit from AJA's Control Room application and it's companion, AJA Control Panel, which comes complete with built-in HDR test patterns.
AJA Control Room provides VPID signaling for SDR/HDR Transfer Characteristics, Colorimetry and Luminance transfer characteristics over SDI, bringing flexible output options to your KONA 4. HDMI ports that were already HDR compatible will work simultaneously, for HDR output via both SDI and HDMI.
VGA
Extend VGA signals up to WUXGA over CAT5e/6.
Audio
Audio Extention over CAT5.
RS232 and USB
Extend RS232 or USB Signals over optical or CATx cable.
