Which large scale TriCaster is Right for You?

If you are looking for enhanced production tools with 16 or 32 inputs, it's time to look at the TriCaster TC1, TriCaster 1 Pro and the top of the range TriCaster 2 Elite.

Whichever model you choose, with NDI®, all TriCasters connect to a wide variety of Vizrt and third-party systems over IP like cameras, converters and custom software applications.

The main differences between the large scale TriCasters are the number of video, SDI and NDI inputs, the number of PTZ cameras that can be supported and the number of video, SDI and NDI outputs.

Each model will have a different number recording channels, different capabilities for seamless integration of remote callers and options for graphics.

If you’re looking for large scale eSports workflows take a look at the head of the family, the TC2 Elite. If you don’t need the number of inputs available on the TC2 Elite but you’re still looking for a production powerhouse, check out the TriCaster 1 Pro.

If you need less recording channels and PTZ cameras than the TC1 Pro and TC2 Elite offer but still need comprehensive camera coverage and compelling multi-source video mixing, including 16 external inputs and 4 M/Es switching, streaming, recording in HD, 3G, and 4K UHD 60p, head straight over to the TC1.

TriCaster TC2 Elite

The TriCaster 2 Elite is a powerful IP based digital media production solution and head of the Vizrt TriCaster family offering 32 simultaneous external video inputs, 32 IP inputs via NDI and 8 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs along with support for up to 32 PTZ cameras. 

The TC2 Elite has 8 HD or 2 UHD configurable independent video mix outputs, with simultaneous delivery via IP and SDI.

A comprehensive digital media production system the TriCaster 2 Elite is an all-encompassing environment to create content for internet, mobile and television distribution. 

TriCaster 2 Elite enables users to create content in a wide range of formats, resolutions, aspect ratios and frame rates. Users can output 16×9 video for traditional video applications or change to a square or vertical aspect ratio without compromise streaming content using the built-in dual encoders to multiple destinations simultaneously.

TriCaster 1 Pro

TriCaster TC1 Pro delivers full sized live action video production, remote operation, visual wizardry and coverage for larger audiences, popular with arenas, football clubs and conference centres, offering 16 simultaneous external video inputs, 16 IP inputs via NDI and 4 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs along with support for up to 16 PTZ cameras. The TC1 Pro has 4 HD configurable independent video mix outputs, with simultaneous delivery via IP and SDI.

Supporting encoding of 3 channels TC1 Pro allows users to configure and launch live streaming video to the web with built-in streaming encoders supporting a choice of connection types, resolutions, and streaming providers, including multiple preset options and custom profile settings. For easy quality control, operators can see the resolution / frame rate of every video source coming into their TriCaster to ensure they can always be confident of the quality of their sources. Perfect for remote workflows, TC1 Pro includes Live Call Connect, making it easy to integrate 4 remote callers into productions, and operators can also send Alpha Channel through one of the MIX outs.

TriCaster TC1

TriCaster TC1 is a capable and cost-effective tool for producing and delivering content that meets the needs of changing viewer habits.

The TC1 offers many of the same powerful features as the TC 1 Pro, with 16 simultaneous external video inputs, 16 IP inputs via NDI and 4 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs but with half the capacity for PTZ cameras, supporting 8. The TC1 has 4 HD configurable independent video mix outputs, with simultaneous delivery via IP and SDI.

TC1 delivers an immersive viewing experience for programs, performances, events and sports intermixing formats up to 4K Ultra HD resolution at 60 frames per second, with NDI video, audio and data transmission over IP with near-zero latency and instant access to and seamless interchange with IP sources from anywhere across the network in real time. 

The TC1 can produce digital media content in various aspect ratios, resolutions, and frame rates for any screen with 4 SDI and IP live outputs, multi-platform live streaming, and social media publishing.
