The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) president and CEO Gordon Smith has confirmed NAB 2021 has moved from its usual April dates to 9-13 October 2021. It remains at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
The move to October means the huge TV tech conference and exhibition will happen after IBC 2021, which is scheduled for 10-14 September 2021.
This is a significant change to recent times when NAB has traditionally been the event where manufacturers announce new products and upgrades, which are then ready to go to market around the time of IBC.
It will be interesting to see what impact this has on new tech releases within the sector this year.
