Sony's Digital Media Production Centre Deploys ADDERLink® INFINITY Solution

Located within the iconic Pinewood Studios in the UK, Sony’s Digital Media Production Centre (DMPC) serves as a dynamic hub for showcasing the future of media production. Designed as a dedicated demonstration space, the DMPC allows Sony to present its latest innovations across virtual production, live production, broadcast, and cinematic workflows. The facility enables major production companies to experience Sony’s offerings first-hand, all within one of the world’s most prestigious film and television studio complexes.

In May 2023, Sony upgraded their DMPC to add a virtual production space, they subsequently required a KVM system that could be moulded around the complex world of virtual production. At the time, virtual production was still a relatively new environment to navigate, but with the vast and flexible KVM solutions available today, the challenge was never too far from reach. Sony’s search for a fit-for-purpose KVM system started here, and soon after ended when they found the perfect solution, Adder Technology.
