The Power to Convert
AJA’s FS family delivers the full power of their hardware conversion expertise in compact 1RU rack Frame Sync units that offer unrivalled flexibility. Delivering AJA’s industry standard up, down, cross-conversion technology for the highest quality images, FS units are ideal for high density applications such as mobile trucks and packed machine rooms, replacing multiple hardware units in a single rack space with up to four channels of 2K/HD/SD or one channel of 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD/SD processing in a single 1RU frame. The wide range of conversion possibilities makes them perfect for aligning disparate sources to a common format, integrating legacy signals into higher resolution workflows or handling whatever the production environment might throw at you.
FS-HDR additionally adds real time SDR/PQ/HLG transformations with 4K LUT capabilities on top of a full suite of FS product conversion tools. FS products support the latest connectivity, with models supporting 12G-SDI, HDMI, and even fibre I/O.
Up, Down, Cross-Conversion
Utilising AJA's remarkable conversion algorithms, FS products support realtime up, down, cross-conversion from SD, HD, 2K and even 4K/UltraHD. Several 4K-capable units can be ganged together to reach even higher resolutions, up to 8K. Both Quadrant (Square Division) and 2SI (Two Sample Interleave) output formats are supported.
AJA's powerful hardware conversion technology ensures the highest image quality for your productions. Key conversion features include:

Remote Configuration and Control
FS products are network ready and support SNMP monitoring and web-based remote control. Units can be connected to any Ethernet network via the built-in 10/100/1000MB Ethernet port, allowing control and configuration of multiple FS units from any web browser on a connected computer. Configurations can be saved and applied to multiple units, ensuring consistency and quick configuration in large installs.
To integrate smoothly with the existing automation of a facility, many models can also receive external GPI commands to trigger a variety of functions.

FS-HDR
FS-HDR, a 1RU, rackmount, universal converter/frame synchronizer, is designed specifically to meet the High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Wide Color Gamut (WCG) needs of broadcast, OTT, production, post and live event AV environments, where real time, low latency processing and color fidelity is required for 4K/UltraHD and 2K/HD workflows. Developed in partnership with Colorfront, the FS-HDR’s HDR/WCG functionality is powered by Colorfront Engine™ proprietary video processing algorithms.

FS4
FS4 is a 4-Channel 2K/HD/SD or 1-Channel 4K/UltraHD frame synchronizer and up, down, cross-converter. AJA’s flagship frame synchronizer and converter offers incredible versatility and connectivity in a sleek 1RU frame for all your 4K/UltraHD and 2K/HD/SD conversion needs, with a wealth of digital and optional 12G-SDI Fiber LC and 12G-SDI BNC SFP connectivity. Offering a wide range of connection options for both video and audio, FS4 can do the work of four separate devices in 2K/HD/SD or combine all processors and channels together for maximum flexibility for 4K/UltraHD productivity.
FS2
KONA HDMI is an 8-lane PCIe 2.0 multi-channel HDMI capture card, with all of the quality and flexibility you have come to expect from AJA.
Designed for the demands of multiple workflows such as gaming, streaming, VJ-ing, live events switching, vlogging, VR, post and broadcast, this powerful card boasts support for dual channel capture up to 4K/UltraHD 60p or four channel capture up to 2K/HD 60p.

FS1-X
FS1-X is the next evolution in frame synchronisation and conversion. Building on the best of FS1 and adding support for 1080p while maintaining support for analog ensures you are ready for what came before and what comes next. Within its compact 1RU chassis, FS1-X integrates an amazing array of video and audio connectivity and processing, including 56- and 64-channel MADI audio over coax or fibre.
FS-Mini
The FS-Mini is a broadcast quality utility frame sync that packs the production-proven reliability of AJA’s leading FS frame sync technology into a portable Mini-Converter supporting frame synchronization of untimed 3G-SDI, HD, and SD video signals at an affordable price.
FS-Mini allows users to synchronise and convert a wide range of video formats to their house standard with a 3G-SDI input and output, HDMI output, and a 2-channel RCA style audio output. The FS-Mini also provides high quality up, down, cross-conversion.
The device also features a reference input that can be used to lock to a local reference. It can be simply controlled via local DIP switches or USB with AJA's Mini-Config application.
